We understand that to bring our best selves to work, we must support and acknowledge our lives outside of work. We know that to be there for our customers, we need to look after our own wellbeing too.
Supporting unique and flexible ways of working
Our approach to hybrid work aims to enable us to work in a way that best delivers for our customers, our teams and our people. It’s broader than just where we work and celebrates the many different types of flexibility available to all of us.
We connect in the office three days per week (pro-rated for part-timers). We ‘dress for our day’ in a way that suits the work we have on that day. We support flexible ways of working, including part-time, job-share, compressed working weeks and flexible hours.
Flexible leave
We have leave for nearly every occasion, whether it’s study leave, religious holiday leave, parental leave, annual leave, wellbeing days, volunteer days, additional sick and carers leave, jury leave or emergency services leave. When that big overseas trip is calling, or you just need some time out, we offer lifestyle leave, which gives you the option to purchase up to eight weeks of additional leave per year.
Our wellbeing tools and resources
Our people have access to our Thrive Wellbeing hub, which includes a range of tools and resources to support our mental, physical, social and financial wellbeing. We have a confidential Employee Assistance Program to support mental health and resilience for our people and immediate family members. Our partnership with WhereFit also provides fitness discounts to support your physical health and wellbeing.
Supporting your wellbeing with Vivo
Vivo is the health, wellness and recovery program we offer our customers – and we’re proud to extend some of its benefits to our people too. With Vivo Virtual Care, you and your immediate family can access fitness and nutrition consults, mental health support and expert medical opinions from leading specialists.
