MLC Life Insurance's Melbourne office has opened the doors to a new premises this week, making the move to 727 Collins Street, Melbourne.

David Hackett, Chief Executive Officer, MLC Life Insurance, said the move comes as the business enters an exciting phase following the new strategic partnership between National Australia Bank (NAB) and Japanese life insurance giant Nippon Life Insurance Company, which took place in October 2016.

“The move supports our future direction as we begin this new chapter for MLC Life Insurance. It’s a period of huge transformation and growth for the business, as we continue to fulfil our commitment to deliver affordable, accessible and innovative life insurance solutions for our customers,” said David.

The Melbourne office move follows MLC Life Insurance’s Sydney office move to 40 Mount Street, North Sydney in December 2016.

With 1,200 employees, 1.4 million customers and a market share of approximately 11%, MLC Life Insurance is Australia's fourth largest life insurer.

Alongside new partner Nippon Life, who holds a majority 80% of the shares in MLC Limited and is the eighth largest life insurer in the world, MLC Life Insurance is well placed for the future.
